To the OP, a couple things might be contributing to this issue, first me and at least a few other alpha testers I know didnt really play the game much after open beta started because we have already ground those low tier 3+ times. The amount of time it's taken me to get my first two 10s in WoWS was much shorter than the 3-4 months it took me in Tanks. It wasn't easy to quickly getВ multiple tier 10s in World of Tanks by leveling several at once either, as I'm sure you know.

They're not in a hurry to hit tier 10 and that's fine. I think the 'tier 8 wall' is just a reflection of the fact that most of the playerbase is taking your route to the top. Now that I've got the two tier 10s that I want, I'm going to be swimming in credits with nothing that I care to spend them on. This was simply from having a premium account, leveling my Iowa, playing my Yamato, and playing whatever random tier 5-8 ship worked with whatever my friends were playing. I did that just two or threeВ weeks ago, and in that time I've earned the 20+ million credits that I needed to purchase my Montana two days ago, along with buying back my Nagato. While I've casually gotten a few lines to the mid-tiers, I leveled both battleship lines in parallel until tier 8 and then focused on getting my Yamato. I think I provide a reasonable counterpoint to your experience. And having 5 lines that I'm grinding means that I have a lot more modules to research and buy, further eating away at my credit balance. I'm not rebuilding my credit balance particularly quickly because each new ship, particularly at tier 6 and 7, takes a big chunk out of my credit balance. And that seriously slows progress on any single line. I am not on a single-minded mission to get to a tier 10. OTOH, I play quite a bit, and I have not gotten a single tier 8 yet. Sure, if you play nothing but a single line and perhaps a good high tier premium like the Atago or Atlanta to earn credits faster, maybe it doesn't take all that long to get to high tiers. I have to disagree with the highlighted statement. I don't think getting rid of the credit wall would really cause the mass player drop in the mid tiers that some people think it would. In WoT, I played mostly tier 4-6, even though I had multiple tier 8+, because they were so much more fun. I totally agree regarding playing the mid tiers because they are much funner. Suggestions?
